| Guys, im trying hard to find Thomson Cruises agency somewhere here in Odessa (but not Volans)... somebody might know about it, i hope. I heard some good staff about them, their policy and wish to try it. I am aware as well that they have plenty of filipinos there, but i think, we are here tough enough too . Please, if you know anything just let me know. I go online every day and look through different sites to find anything, this one in particular. Thanks a lot in advance...

Hello, everybody! Let me write some words about my reasons of looking for a job on a cruise ship. I like svetik777_87's: "Money - it's just a paper, nothing!!! The most important things in life - your memorys, emotions and feels of what you saw in your life!!!!!...." very much and I agree with she in global sence.  But, unfortunatelly, our life became sometimes so that without money we haven't any opportunity to see and feel many amazing things of life as we want. Then we must make our own choice - to survive or to LIVE. And then the job on a cruise ship gives us such a wonderfull chance to earn money and to see the world at the same time. But, if honesty, just money is the main aim of my future job  , and the voyage is the happy opportunity.  In my mind, most of seafarers will agree with me, aren't they? 
Thank you for attention!!! And sorry for mistakes...

I mean unfortunatelly I have no english speaking practice, but writing is easier for me because I study English with the dictionary and teaching aids. And my lexic is not so good, but I try to adress to my dictionary as seldom as I can.
I think our respected Moderates will be not against if we will associate here, in English of cource. And in theme certainly...

| Hello! I was in Volans in August 26 and it was the preliminary conversation. I already knew it's result. And the main interwiew whith the representative of the cruising company must take place in the end of October. Then we wiil wait for result - to work or not to work in this company.
Are you working?

| hello Wall!! I am working now !! I dont know what to do. I dont want to leave my job before I get a conract on the ship.I have read a lot of bad things about Greek sea company, Greek ships--- what do you think about? May be you know something about this problem? Let me know. please!!!!!

| timoty70, I understand you. I also heard not fun things about greek sea companies in general and about Louis in perticular. But the first contract is very important to get. And they say the Greeks are not so captious to the age and experience of their applicants. So this is a good chance for people like you and me to start our work at sea, I think. And then, with some marine experience, we can easier get to the next contract with the better conditions. I found lot of information here on this forum in theme "Cruise companies".

| Maybe, Vetal. So there are many different pozitions onboard. Some of them do not need so good English, I think. But it will be the hardest work. Then - study English and work easily!

| I hope you are right, Vetal, because I worry about my English too, although that my teacher says my "It's OK". And of course I'll try to get a job in Greek company - Louise cruise lines.
